Peter Ormond steals his father's coin collection, and then has them stolen from him but cannot report the theft. Peter agrees to help Charley take a herd of horses to sale. When his father's black servant arrives in Arizona to get the coins back, the three men find themselves on a military train and end up enlisting in the Rough Riders. To save their skins, all three find themselves in the expeditionary force invading Cuba to defeat the Spaniards who are at war with the United States.
